PROJECTS
Governed by the principle of “People Helping People”, Aarti Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in New York State for the following purposes:
• To give food, clothing, shelter and other basic necessities of life to economically disadvantaged people in the U.S. and other parts of the world.
• To donate money to other registered, non-profit, charitable organizations that support economically disadvantaged people.
• To give medicines and other health care items to those in need.
• To help victims of natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, etc.

Ukrainian Congress Committee of America
On April 21, 2022 Aarti Foundation, Inc. donated $3,000 to the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) Long Island Chapter to support Ukraine relief efforts.
Long Island Cares Food Bank
On November 7th, together, we purchased and delivered a ½ ton of food to the Long Island Cares Food Bank in Hauppauge, NY. The food was distributed to local food banks across Suffolk County. This was our first event with LI Cares.
Food Bank NYC
Another event took place in Brooklyn on November 20th, in partnership again with Food Bank NYC. A group of 15 pediatricians package and distribute food at a makeshift food bank, coordinated by the NYC Department of Education and the NYCDOMHH.
American Academy of Pediatrics
On December 4, 2021, Aarti Foundation, Inc. and the American Academy of Pediatrics New York Chapter 2 provided joint funding to purchase new, unwrapped toys for the "Toys For Tots" drive to provide holiday gifts to children in need.
Nassau County EXECUTIVE, Arnold Drucker
Aarti Foundation, Inc. was awarded a citation by Nassau County Legislator, Arnold Drucker for being a community partner in the Toys for Tots Drive and for serving underprivileged communities in New York and abroad.

Laura Curran
Anika Tolat was honored on Indian American Night by Nassau County Legislature Laura Curran on July 11, 2021 for her community service in helping COVID-19 affected families in New York (donating food to shelters and PPE to hospitals) and for raising $8,481 on behalf of Aarti Foundation, Inc. to provide COVID-19 relief during the second wave in India.

Matrudham Charitable Eye Hospital
Matrudham Charitable Eye Hospital in Ahmedabad, India prepared meals and fed families affected by COVID-19. Aarti Foundation donated funds to support their efforts.
Sanskar Tirth
The mission of Sanskar Tirth (in Ajol) is to help young women develop self-confidence and independence through education and vocational training. Each year Aarti Foundation sponsors girls and nursing students for education and provides equipment for women’s upliftment (e.g.,sewing machines, computers).
Niramaya Health Foundation
Niramaya Health Foundation in Mumbai, India is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring a disease-free childhood, with a focus on preventing anemia and related malnutrition in children and pregnant women. Through Aarti Foundation’s donations over the past 10 years, Niramaya Health Foundation has been able to support 15,000 malnourished children.
AIDS Combat International
AIDS Combat International (ACI) in Mumbai, India improves the quality of life of HIV-infected widows and children by reducing social stigma and discrimination through large awareness programs. Nayanam (a subdivision of ACI) supports routine screening for eye surgeries. ACI has worked tirelessly to provide medications, groceries, and educational support to COVID-19 patients and their families. Aarti Foundation, Inc. has supported ACI’s projects for over 10 years.

Covid Relief
One of the many objectives of Sanskruti Foundation is support relief projects in India. Aarti Foundation donated funds to deliver food kits to families affected by COVID-19 in Porbandar, India.
The Interfaith Nutrition Network
The Interfaith Nutrition Network is a homeless shelter in Hempstead, NY. For the past 15 years, Aarti Foundation, Inc. has been donating food items around the holidays so that economically disadvantaged families can enjoy a hot meal (December 2020).
American Academy of Pediatrics
In December of 2020, New York Chapter 2 of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Aarti Foundation, Inc. provided joint funding to purchase and deliver toys to children in need during the holiday season.
Senior Community Center of the Vaishnav Temple of New York
Aarti Foundation was a grand sponsor for the reopening of the Senior Community Center of the Vaishnav Temple of New York (VTNY) sports club. This is to support the social well-being and activities of senior citizens.
2019 - 2020
Midnight Run
In December of 2019, Aarti Foundation donated funds to Midnight Run, an outreach that provides food and clothing to the homeless in Manhattan.
American Academy of Pediatrics
New York Chapter 2 of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Aarti Foundation provided joint funding to impact food insecurity across the regions of Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Indian American Cultural Association of Westchester
Aarti Foundation partnered with Indian American Cultural Association of Westchester (IACAW) to deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) to White Plains Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, and St. John’s Riverside Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic.
